• What is a SnapTag?

  A SnapTag is branded mobile barcode, composed of a logo or icon and a Code Ring.

  

• What is a Code Ring?

  A Code Ring is a circle with strategically placed breaks in the ring. The distinct placement of breaks combined with the center icon create a unique SnapTag.

• What does a SnapTag look like?

  SnapTags can be created by combining any logo, brand icon or other image with a code ring.

  

• Do I need to have a smartphone to use SnapTag?

  No. Any camera phone with picture messaging capabilities can use a SnapTag. See SNAP & SEND under “How do consumers use a SnapTag below for directions.

• Do I need to have an App to use a SnapTag?

  No. See SNAP & SEND under “How do consumers use a SnapTag below for directions on how to participate without the App.

• How do consumers use a SnapTag?

  There are two ways to participate. Consumers can either:

  SCAN with the SnapTag Reader App(available for iPhone & Android. To download the App, text 33218)

  

  SNAP & SEND with any camera phone.

  

• If I am using SNAP & SEND, where do I send the SnapTag?

  

  
  You can send in the SnapTag one of two ways.

  MMS: Use the MMS, or picture messaging, functionality on your phone to send the picture to the short code featured beside the SnapTag 

  Email: You can also email the picture of the SnapTag to the address featured beside the SnapTag to activate the promised response.

• How clear does the SnapTag picture need to be?

  Clear to moderately fuzzy. When you take a picture of the SnapTag, ensure the SnapTag fills the screen on your camera phone. If you can see the breaks in the ring clearly, we should also be able to read the SnapTag when you send it to us. Check out some SnapTags people have sent in below!

  

• How much does using a SnapTag cost?

  Mobile carrier message and data rates apply when you snap and send a SnapTag, but there are no SpyderLynk fees charged to anyone using a SnapTag.

• Is there a SnapTag Reader Application available?

  Yes. The SnapTag Reader App is available for iPhone in the App Store & Android in the Android Marketplace. You can also get access to download the App by texting "APP" to 33218. The SnapTag Reader allows you to activate SnapTags faster and more easily and automatically stores all of the SnapTags you’ve used.

  

• What if I opt into receive messages from a brand but decide I don't want receive them anymore?

  Text the word STOP to the short code or email address you originally participated in or response to any message you receive from us with the word STOP.

• What if I need help?

  Email us at any time at support@spyderlynk.com. Give us some insight into the problems you are having and we will do our best to find a solution for you.

• I sent a picture of a SnapTag, but didn’t get a response. What should I do?

  Check to make sure the short code number or email address you sent the SnapTag to corresponds with the short code or email given on the SnapTag. If they match and you still didn’t get a response, send us an email at support@spyderlynk.com and include a picture of the SnapTag as well as the number or email address you sent it to and we’ll help you out.
